I'm not sure but judging from the name I think this is a group from one of the French Antilles. Godwin Gramms is well known in the Caribbeans for one 45 with the ballads "Ivette My Love" and "Myrtha My Darling". I could not find any information on both the group or the singer.
The original label of the song is also unknown to me, but to answer the demand the song was printed on the Suriname "Uncle" label in The Netherlands.
I love music, mostly Ballads be it US, Caribbean and all parts of the World. My second love is South American and Caribbean dance music. I'm not a technical listener but an emotional one. The voices, backing vocals, band, lyrics must touch me for me to like it. So don't expect me to dwell into technical details of songs, if it's on this blog, it's there because it touched me in one way or an other.
